COURTESY POSTING - Hi, my name is Ginger. My two-legged dad died last December from cancer, and I am looking for a new fur-ever home. Since then, I have been living with my grandmother, and she just passed. Sadly, I have lost my two humans. I am an 85-pound, female, Boxer / Pyrenees mix, spayed, current on my shots, and approximately 5 ½ years old. Although I can sit when told, I have a lot of energy. Currently, I am being boarded at the Alvarado Veterinary Clinic, as my foster situation fell through. I would love to find a big yard or a home in the country where I can play and run with a companion who will spend time with me. I am not very good with small children, am good on a leash, and eager to learn new commands and tricks. When it thunders, I hide in the shower or under the vanity because I get scared. And the vet usually sedates me when I get my nails trimmed because I dont like being there. Other than that, I am a big love bug just wanting to please you and be your lifelong friend.
