LAP DOG!! Come and get your LAP DOG. I know you’re confused… I am a little less than 60 pounds and YES I am a lap dog. My name is Tyko, Ty for short, and the boxer in me shows in some of my behaviors. I love to cuddle in bed or on the sofa. I LOVE to play and would do best with a playmate. A CANINE playmate… I am not a feline fan.

I have been through basic training. I know sit, down, stay and am in the beginning stages of heel. I love to tug, fetch and RUN - Especially after my doggy friends. I don’t have the best social skills but I am a quick learner. I aim to please!!!

I am crate trained, house broken and haven’t chewed on a single thing in my foster home other than my appointed dog toys. I am good with children of all ages. I am a little of a fraidy cat with new experiences and will look to my benevolent leader for comfort. Usually if my pack leader says it’s safe — I believe him/her.

Love is my game. I will try to melt you with my big brown eyes and just when you are almost a complete puddle on the ground I will lay my paw in your lap. I am a big teddy bear but when someone gets near my house my bark is quite fierce. I let my family know when I think something isn’t right. Don’t get me wrong, if my leaders allow the guest in our home… here comes the Tyko LOVE!!!!!!
