Learn more about the Labrador Retriever. Learn more about the German Shepherd Dog. Harrison is a great puppy! He loves to play with his foster brother and sister, two great big labs. Even though they greatly out weigh him, Harrison can hold his own. Harrison also loves to chase balls, play with his stuffed animals and play with his feline foster brother and sister. He's actually very good with cats but doesn't understand why they don't want to play with him. Once he's finished playing Harrison really loves to snuggle up with me on the couch for a nap. He walks very well on a leash and harness and for the most part is potty trained. He just needs frequent potty breaks when playing. Harrison is also crate trained and settles right in at night when it's time for bed. He's a gentle treat taker and knows how to sit for one. We are working on the stay command. As with all puppies he loves to chew but when you tell him no and redirect his attention he stops. He is very friendly when he meets new people. He's only been around older children and does great with them. He really his a very sweet dog and seems eager to please and learn new things. He would be a great addition to any home! All of our animals come fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered and microchipped. Our adoption fee is $150 for dogs, $85 for cats and $85 for senior pets. Our process for adopting puppies is a little different from adopting an adult dog: 1). Your application and home visit must be completed before final approval for adopting a puppy (including meeting the puppies). At the home visit we will check if your fence is secure, help you identify anything that may entice puppy curiosity/chewing, etc. 2). Your contract will include a special provision that you will agree to take your puppy to Puppy Obedience Training within 30 days of adoption. IF YOU CAN NOT COMMIT TO THIS PROCESS, please do not apply for a puppy. There are NO exceptions. We do this to ensure our puppies STAY in their forever homes.
