Just like the Mouse that Roared, don’t discount this little girl because of her size. Diminutive yes, but all personality. We don’t know her full background but know that she had some rough times with scald burns on most of her back, a horrendous dental infection and so scrawny it was amazing she could stand up. With some excellent medical treatment this determined little girl has over come most of that and is just a little doll, she is so loving and affectionate you’d never guess she was so neglected. Daysha gets along great with anyone who just wants to cuddle and hold her. She does well with other dogs, not sure about cats, so far she’s just ignored the one in her foster family. So small she slips through the bars in the baby gates that barricade the other dogs, Daysha takes advantage of her freedoms and it’s hard to tell if that tongue peeking out the side of her mouth is from the teeth that had to be pulled or if she’s sticking it out at the others as she trots down the hall, either way once you know her you realize that she has a great sense of humor. Once on a schedule she is housebroken and she doesn’t require any special treatment other than lots and lots of love and cuddles.

Daysha still needs to gain some weight and continue to build her strength, as well as grow some hair, but she’d sure love to let you be a part of that. Due to her size we do not recommend Daysha for homes with children under five years of age.
