Cannyn was picked up by two nice men off the highway... no tags, no microchip, we were unable to find her owners.  It's obvious she had a family, she is very well behaved (but a puppy!), she knows sit and shake.  She is approximately 10mos- 1yr old, weighs about 40 lbs., and is such a sweet little girl.  Her foster began teaching her to "heel" and found that she really enjoys learning and is very attentive with proper training.  Cannyn LOVES to ride in the car!  She hops in the back seat and suddenly becomes so content that she usually just lays right down and sleeps!  She loves to take walks and would also make a great running buddy.  When you decide to take a break and sit in the grass, she lies beside you and relaxes.  Cannyn loves people of all sizes and ages.  She did well with the one cat I introduced her to.  Anxious or even playful dogs will make her a bit nervous at first but I have also had her meet a stranger dog where they just sniffed each other and went along their way.  I believe that she could become friends with any good dog with a little patience and the right introduction.  Cannyn also LOVES the water, but you have to keep hold of her because she wants to get in and swim!!   Again, she is very athletic and I should also mention that she can JUMP, so at least a 5-6 ft fence would be required.  Did I mention how beautiful she is?
