Chessie has a VERY sweet disposition and loves to play with her toys….she carries them everywhere in her mouth…she is very, very playful, but isn’t a big barker. She loves water and her ice cubes and gives out lots and lots of kisses. A great car rider, Chessie does very well in the store, and seems to like children. Does pretty well on the leash for such a young puppy. She's learning how to ring the bell to go outside and doesn't beg for food when her humans eat. We are working on learning not to jump on people and not to be grabby when getting treats (typical puppy stuff!). She is totally crate trained and potty trained!!! Does pretty well with a cat in the house, but you always have to do introductions slowly with pups and kitties. Her foster mom says “Overall, she's extremely sweet natured and smart -- smart enough to know to follow the rules and stay out of trouble!” As with all our puppies under one year of age, obedience training is required to keep Chessie on track to be the best doggie she can be!
