I HAVE AN APPLICATION PENDING !!! Gigi is a tiny darling of a girl puppy!  She is approximately 10 weeks old and weighs about 3.5 pounds.  Right now she is in a foster home with her puppy brother Georgie and they are learning proper dog behavior from their foster brother and sister dogs.  Gigi has lots of playful energy and loves to scamper from the family room to the dining room and back, pausing for peepee pad practice.  She is learning to use the peepee pads and learning to love her crate as a relaxing, safe place where she sometimes receives treats.  She is too small to be in a family with young children that don't yet understand being gentle with puppies, as she is often underfoot.   Some of her favorite things are chewing on her nylabone fish and soft plush toys, and she loves to give kisses and be held.  This sweet little girl will melt your heart and you will want to baby her like the baby that she is!

Our process for adopting puppies is a little different from adopting an adult dog:
1. Your application and home visit must be completed before final approval for adopting a puppy (including meeting the puppies). At the home visit we will check if your fence is secure, help you identify anything that may entice puppy curiousity/chewing, etc.
2. Every animal that is adopted from us is spayed/neutered before adoption. Since these puppies will be altered AFTER they are 12 weeks old, we allow our approved families to enter into a "Foster-to-Adopt" contract for their puppy. This allows us to place the puppy in your home at 9-10 weeks old so you can being the important bonding process, however, we maintain ownership and financial responsibility until they are spayed/neutered (usually 12 weeks old, but up to the discretion of our veterinarian). This will require you to bring your puppy to our veterninarian in North Dallas for the spay/neuter surgery (or any other medical need).
4. Your contract will include a special provision that you will agree to take your puppy to Puppy Obedience Training within 30 days of adoption.

IF YOU CAN NOT COMMIT TO THIS PROCESS, please do not apply for one of these puppies. There are NO exceptions. We do this to ensure our puppies STAY in their forever homes.
