I HAVE AN ADOPTION PENDING!! We have received an overwhelming amount of applications to adopt Petunia so at this time we are not taking any new ones. Please look at some of the other dogs we have available for adoption.
Meet Petunia, one our newest babies. She might look like a fragile little furry dog, but this little one is a fearless soul ! A typically puppy not afraid to explore or get into anything. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? Mommy will come bail me out anyways, right? She loves playing in the yard with foster sister Corrie while the other dogs in the house watch the show. She finds that the overgrown grass is a perfect hiding place when playing Hide and Seek with Corrie. It's even more fun to jump out suddenly to scare Corrie :) Don't worry, Corrie is not one to be scared- she's the one who taught Petunia the trick in the first place. Of course after all that play she looks more like a yard dog covered in mud than a fluffy little maltese/poodle. She loves going out for a walk and is surprisingly good on the leash, except of course she is a baby so anything and everything goes right into her mouth. Keeping a faster pace helps avoid that, plus she has the energy to burn anyways. After a nice walk, she loves to just spread out on the cool tile floor and chill. Despite all the usual rambunctiousness, she is also the cute furry cuddly baby. Well, sometimes. When she isn't too distracted with play time. She's a sweet little puppy that will brighten your home and world. Of course, she still is a puppy and comes with what you may expect - some chewing, lots of playing, lots of yet-to-do learning, etc. But she's a smart one for her age. We have just recently started on some crate training for short periods of time. She doesn't quite like it yet, but she is improving every day.
