P U P P I E S!!!!!!!!!!!!! They don’t get any cuter than this! Born to mommy Addison on 3/21/09 while she was in our care, we think these are probably beagle/pug mixes… but really hard to say. While these kiddos have the extra-cute factor going on, please remember that they ARE young puppies and will be for a long time to come… they will chew, pee, poop, chew some more, poop some more (in your favorite shoe!) and challenge you at every turn. Puppies are full of love and will bring lots of smiles, but will bring lots of frustration, too! Be prepared to have your life turned upsidedown!!! Our process for adopting puppies is a little different that adopting our adult dogs: 1. Your application and home visit must be completed before final approval for a pup. At the home visit, we will check your fence to make sure it is secure, help you identify any areas/objects in your home that may entice curiosity/chewing by a puppy, etc. 2. Every animal that is adopted from our group is spayed/neutered before adoption. Since these puppies will be altered after they are 12 weeks old, we allow our approved families to enter into a “Foster-to-Adopt” contract for their puppy. This allows us to place the puppy in your home at 9-10 weeks of age so you can begin the important bonding process, however, we maintain ownership and financial responsibility until they are old enough to spay/neuter (usually 12 weeks, but up to the discretion of our veterinarian. This will require you to bring your puppy to our veterninarian in North Dallas for the spay/neuter (or any other medical need that may arise). IF YOU CAN NOT COMMIT TO THIS PROCESS, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR ONE OF THESE PUPPIES !!! There are no exceptions. 3. After your puppy is spayed/neutered, we will complete the final adoption paperwork.
