Carley is a classic German Shorthaired Pointer: loyal, obedient, intelligent, affectionate and energetic. She awakes each day with exuberance ready to point out birds, squirrels and butterflies in case you need to know where they are. Her strong hunter instinct makes her a poor match for homes with cats but people, dogs and children are her best friends. This breed is never aggressive but their agility and endurance require regular exercise. Carley is a bit smaller than most GSP's but otherwise a beautiful example of this aristocratic breed. She is housebroken, walks well on lead, likes car travel, has learned some obedience commands and is learning to like her crate. She is named for the only GSP to ever win "Best of Show" at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
