Fred - His fosters call him Fancy Foot Fred because he has white paws with tiny black speckles that accentuate his reddish brown brindle coat. He has soulful eyes with long lashes. Fred is an outgoing outdoorsman, he loves meeting new people and basking in the sun during his play breaks outside. He has a softer side though and is a fan of snuggling.
Our process for adopting puppies is a little different from adopting an adult dog: 1. Your application and home visit must be completed before final approval for adopting a puppy (including meeting the puppies). At the home visit we will check if your fence is secure, help you identify anything that may entice puppy curiosity/chewing, etc. 2. Every animal that is adopted from us is spayed/neutered before adoption. Since these puppies will be altered AFTER they are 12 weeks old, we allow our approved families to enter into a "Foster-to-Adopt" contract for their puppy. This allows us to place the puppy in your home at 9-10 weeks old so you can begin the important bonding process, however, we maintain ownership and financial responsibility until they are spayed/neutered (usually 12 weeks old, but up to the discretion of our veterinarian). This will require you to bring your puppy to our veterinarian in North Dallas for the spay/neuter surgery (or any other medical need). IF YOU CAN NOT COMMIT TO THIS PROCESS, please do not apply for one of these puppies. There are NO exceptions. We do this to ensure our puppies STAY in their forever homes.
