Learn more about the Cairn Terrier. Learn more about the Dachshund. Olivia came to us on 12/22/06 from a city shelter that had held her for two weeks (a long time in terms of shelter life). She received some sort of trauma to her right side, possibly hit by a car, that damaged all of the nerves in her shoulder. Her leg is frozen in an upright position. But it doesn't stop this little beauty at all! She is so sweet and loving and this charming little girl will be a constant loyal companion and is a very well behaved girl with wonderful manners. She is so intelligent and learns very quickly, she is a real cuddle hound and is now trained to the doggie door as well as the crate. She’s doing well with the leash training, it’s still a little awkward for her but she’s figuring out how to make it work for her.
