Learn more about the Dachshund. UPDATE; 8/24/10 Tweenie had to have her back leg amputated today so it will be several weeks before she will be able to "meet & greet". But you can bet this will not slow this little firecracker down at all... stay tuned and we will update the website as soon as she gets better....
Can you help us? We can't agree...is this little girl a long hair Doxy mix; a Tibetan Terrier mix; or Yorkie mix? So we named her Tweenie because she's some where between one or another or maybe all three! What we can agree on is that this young lady is one of the sweetest little lovies you will ever meet. Pulled from a local kill shelter where she was picked up as a stray with a severly broken leg she hasn't let whatever happened in her background get her down. Tweenie is a very bright and happy pup. A real cuddler, if you make a lap, she will be in it. Don't have time to sit with her, then she is content to just be close. Tweenie is very playful, don't let the splint fool you it doesn't slow her down much, she gets along great with all her foster brothers and sisters and has not shown much interest in the cat yet. We are still getting to know Tweenie so keep checking for updates on her progress...
