Maximillion is a dear dog (est. 1.5 to 2 years old) that was in a high kill shelter, terribly matted and with an upper respiratory infection. His beautiful coat had to be shaved down to his skin because he was so matted (see his "lion" cut?). He is definitely a loverboy, so you must have the perfect lap and a happy-go-lucky personality to have this boy. After all he's been through he has a sweet, trusting and endearing persona. We are looking for a home with children over the age of 8 for this little dog....

Max requires another dog in the home and an active person/family that loves to go for walks, play with toys and keep this little dog active. He is VERY smart and would be an excellent flyball/agility dog. He needs a person that has previous dog experience or his sweet little face gets him in trouble!
