Hi my name is Winslow otherwise known as “ Winnie”. My foster moms gave me that name cause I was found wandering off I-30 and Winslow Road in Dallas. I’m not sure what breed I am to be exact, but I am pretty sure I am an Australian Cattle dog Mix, I do know I’m as cute as a button. I love to cuddle. So far being inside a home is really nice and warm for the cooler weather. I love to play by myself, I love laser pointers, and I love chewing on bones. I feel safe inside, but I love being outdoors, it’s all I’ve known my whole life.

I am around 1-2 years old and I weigh about 39 pounds. When my foster moms found me I was malnourished, but with a healthy diet and good food I’m putting on the pounds. It seems that I might have been hit by a car at some point as I have a crushed pelvis, which Is requiring me to undergo two hip surgeries. I already got one hip surgery done. Just one more to go!

I am heartworm positive, but have no fear with the proper care and medications, that will be gone soon for good!
